As a graphic designer, senior art director, and production manager in New York City, I quickly learned all aspects of the business from computer design to the latest production and print technology. Life was good but my spirit longed to be closer to nature. When I came to Asheville, North Carolina, to visit friends, I knew I had found my new home. In 2001, I moved to this thriving arts community in the Western North Carolina mountains. I knew I was open to new possibilities but the entire process has exceeded my expectations.
I work with wonderful people in this community, some native, others transplants like myself. And I continue to work with my favorite New York clients. I have developed caring relationships with many clients, working in a collaborative environment. My creativity has expanded to include a sculpting studio in the River Arts District. I am also part of a vibrant writing community and have recently completed my first book, a memoir entitled,
See, There He Is.
I relish my healthy lifestyle. I've unleashed many passions since moving here, including writing, mountain hiking, painting, sculpting, gardening, nurturing special friendships, and a husband to share my life with. I'm also closer to my daughter Jennifer and her husband Josh, who live in Atlanta and I cherish the time we spend together.
